Merlin Accreditations
Merlin is proud to have achieved many important accreditations in recent years. Many of these have been accomplished through our award winning ‘Merlin Training Academy', solidifying Merlin's place among the top training organisations in the country.

Chartered Institute of Insurance

For many years Merlin has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), allowing our in-house intensive Loss Adjusting and Claims Technicians courses to gain extra credits towards the CII qualifications framework. Many of Merlin's staff have completed the qualifications from Cert. CII to ACII and FCII standard.

ISO14001 Certification

Merlin is proud to be awarded an ISO14001 certification, in recognition of the company’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. Merlin’s Green Team has undertaken extensive research in order to evaluate, manage and implement a formal Environmental Management System (EMS) in order to achieve the IS01 4001 certification.
This certification is testament to Merlin’s commitment to addressing the way in which the business is managed on a day to day basis. There is however no time to sit back and relax, with always more to be done Merlin is dedicated to implementing ongoing improvement across the business
Putting the Customer First
In 2010, Merlin was once again successful in achieving the 'Putting the Customer First' accreditation.
Putting the Customer First is a national standard recognising excellent customer service across all industries. The standard highlights the need for organisations to focus on the customer and evaluate how they interface and experience our Company's to ensure exemplary service delivery.
Achieving this certification clearly demonstrates Merlin’s dedication to customer service, and the ethos of continuous improvement to deliver the highest standards of quality and service as standard.

Investor in People

In early 2010, Merlin underwent an annual assessment of the Investor in People accreditation and is proud to say that we were succesful in maintaining this.

Association of Accounting Technicians

In January 2011, Merlin was pleased to announce the Merlin Training Academy was succesful in becoming an Accredited Employer by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
The AAT is the UK's leading qualifications and membership body for accounting and finance staff, awarding around 90% of all vocational qualifications in accountancy. AAT is sponsored by the professional accountancy bodies the CIPFA, the ICAEW, CIMA and ICAS.
Obtaining this accreditation demonstrates Merlin's commitment to the professional development of all of our staff.

Chartered Management Institute
In 2010, Merlin was proud to be awarded an accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). The CMI describe themselves as "the only chartered body in the UK that awards management and leadership qualifications and the only body that awards Chartered Manager, the hallmark of any professional manager."
Merlin provides accredited courses in Team Leading and First Line Management for the CMI. The first intake course began in May 2010 and is proving successful .
