New Head of Special Investigation at Merlin

Merlin has announced the promotion of Loss Adjuster Tim Richardson to Head of Special Investigation. Tim will report to Merlin’s Chief Technical Officer, Kevin Wood.
The appointment follows the promotion of Andrew Considine to Regional Manager for the Yorkshire, Humberside & North East region.
Commenting on Tim’s promotion, Kevin Wood said: “Tim will carry on developing our special investigation division, which is already one of the strongest in the industry. We have already been successful in developing our offering to be market leading and growing our market share. With Tim’s experience in loss adjusting and special investigations and his strategic approach, I believe the division has even further potential for growth and I am looking forward to working with Tim.”
He added, “Tim’s promotion yet again shows the company’s commitment to developing its people and he is an excellent example of an individual with a clear and supported career strategy.
Tim initially joined the then AMG business in 1996, leaving to join Congregational and General as Claims Controller in 2003. He then moved to DE Ford insurance brokers in the role of Claims Manager/Account Manager, returning to join Merlin’s special investigation division Merlin in 2007. Tim is currently working towards Fellowship of CILA after gaining Associate status last year.
